The Explorer Elite is hand build as are all our mouldings, using only the very best Lloyds approved quality materials. The Explorer Elite is manufactured to ISO 12217 standard and is fully CE approved.
The Explorer Elites medium V hull provides the best option for a smooth ride and minimum roll at anchor ensuring maximum comfort. The hull shape provides extremely responsive handling at both high and low speeds. There is ample room for all in the large forward cuddy. Freeboard is 32ins to provide maximum safety for all the crew. The shallow draught of the Explorer Elite and the folding S/S boarding ladder makes boarding easy and safe. The steering height is suitable for either standing or sitting.
The explorer Elite offers 40 sq. ft. of deck space, 2 storage lockers in the forward bunks, 2 storage lockers in console and non-slip deck throughout. There are 2-rod holders fitted in the gunnels, a S/S bow roller, S/S Sampson mooring post, 2 S/S stern mooring cleats, 3 S/S grab rails one on each gunnel and one across the transom, two seat boxes with storage lockers and seats.
The stern is open with shelves for fuel tanks battery and other sundries, the anchor locker is huge and self-draining and access is via a pair of hinged locker doors on the foredeck. The foredeck is accessed via a forward hatch, which is constructed of anodised aluminium, Maximum engine rating is 80hp, however a 50/60hp is adequate for the job and provides maximum economy.
